Many places to see.

Do you know that feeling of freedom? When you are so far away about your rutinal life. For me is the best feeling, when I am in a journey in someplace different to this.Well, I like my country and the people, but I have a strong interest about different cultures and I love to travel.
Today I am going to show you where I have been.

My first trip was to a small city near Bristol, called Midsomer Norton I think.I went there in a school exchange when I was about 15. There we visit the city of Bath and the Cheddar Caves.

My second trip was to London with my friend Edward. He is from London and he wanted to learn Spanish so we decided to have a kind of familiar exchange. I stayed in his parents home in Essex but we were able to visit London everyday in a week. I saw many things of that beautiful city and I enjoyed it too much. Here is a photo of the Globe Theater, a build I really liked due to its history.

After that trip I went with my school on a tour through different countries. First we went to Gent in Belgium. There we stayed about 4 days. From there we went one day to Brussels.

Another day we went to visit Amsterdam in Netherlands. This is my favourite city because of the people and history and the strange layout of the city.

Then we visit the city of Brugge, a city of tale, with all its beautiful buildings, lakes and gardens.

Finally in our return trip we stayed two days in Paris and one day in Disneyland. Paris is a really beautiful city, but the country I like the most is Netherlands.

And my last trip was this year to Ucraine, Vasilkiv exactly, to attend a wedding. The country is really poor but the people is lovely, I mean it.

Slumville Sunrise - Jake Bugg.

The wind keeps beating on my window
I haven't slept all night
That drum just keeps on banging
They must be buzzin' out their minds
Like bees in a hive
Tell me when the morning arrives

This place is just not for me

I say it all the time
My friends they just ignore me
Tell me nevermind,
Waiting all your life for the Slumville Sunrise

Slumville Sunrise

Nobody cares or looks twice
Shout away in the morning across this place where I was born in
Every bruise, every flower illuminated by the dawning

My face upon the concrete

The dirt is in my mouth
I clench my fist and feet
I'm tryna cry out loud.
Make a sound, something is keeping me down.

This place is just not for me

I say it a thousand times
My friends they just ignore me
Tell me nevermind
Waiting all your life for the Slumville Sunrise

Slumville Sunrise

Nobody cares or looks twice
Shout away in the morning across this place where I was born in
Every bruise, every flower illuminated by the dawning

This place is just not for me

I say it all the time
My friends they just ignore me
Tell me nevermind
Waiting all your life for the Slumville Sunrise

Slumville Sunrise

Nobody cares or looks twice
Shout away in the morning across this place where I was born in
Every bruise, every flower illuminated by the dawning.
Every bruise, every flower illuminated by the dawning.

Christmas in United Kingdom

In England there are many traditions similar to its neighbors in Europe, and many that do not seem in the least.
Prior to Christmas Eve, the English streets are filled with the Christmas spirit with people singing Christmas carols in the squares, lights and trees that decorate the cities, without missing the Christmas markets.
In England, the day of great importance during the holiday season are 25, Christmas day and 26, Boxing Day, or boxing day - the day that old servants and traders celebrated officially Christmas, receiving gifts and gifts of their superiors.Christmas day is celebrated with a dinner goose, Turkey or roast chicken and stuffed with vegetables and potatoes. After the dinner, is sipping on sweet desserts like the fruit tarts and pudding for Christmas.

A Jumper..

Once a man was about to jump from the top of a building in new york. This man wanted to end her life because of numerous problems. However, another man would not allow that to happen, or at least try it.
After several hours talking with him, the man seemed to enter reason and decided to go back into the room.
After arrange numerous police roles and be psychologically analyzed, this man set out to change his life dramatically. He  was walking down the street and thought the first thing that would make. He would seek new job, perhaps would make a trip to Europe.
All of this went through his mind when suddenly a car deviated and ended with his life.
For some it seems that destiny is written.

Global Warming

The global warming is a really dangerous fact that is happening now. This global warming can be very difficult to deal with if we don´t act right now.The earth is being distroyed  because of the pollution that we all produced, so we must stop it to save the Earth and the humans life.
Unfortunately, our goverments are not seeing the situarion as they should, only a few countries are worried about that fact.
So we all have to join each other and do everything as posible to change this big problem.

Solutions

In my opinion,we could accept and interiorize some personal measures. For example, we could recycle, so as less energy would be needed to fabricate products. We could also use more public transport instead of using always our private cars, because less pollutant gases would be spread to the atmosphere.
Also the goverment could  run compaigns to raise public awareness  so as we could take care of the Earth. We all should contribute to avoid global warming and to protect our planet!

Rock Music & Classical Music

As we all know there are many different types of music. Two of them are classical music and rock music.
From my point of view, both types of music convey feelings, moods etc to the people, but each in a different way. For example the rock for me is music more alive, more aggressive and much more popular than classical music.
On the other hand, classical music is alive, but it is more delicate and beautiful. In addition, classical music is associated with a high class of society and it is not as popular as the rock.
Both styles of music are different but still have many things in common, only depends on the taste of the person who listens to them.

Bobbies

Scotland Yard, formally the new scotland yard, is the name given to the metropolitan police in London, which was founded in 1829 by Sir Robert Peel.
Its name derives from the location of the original headquarters of the metropolitan police in its origins, in 4 Whitehall place, where there was a back door facing the street Great Scotland Yard.
The British police is popularly known as "bobbies", due to the name of the founder, Robert, since in England Bobby is the nickname of Robert, Roberta or Robin.

The Art of Letter Writing.

Since a long time ago the art of writing letters has been somewhat lost. Nowadays nobody sends letters of love, greeting or simply any relevant news.
All this because of the advancement of technology. And somehow the communication has become much more easy and fast.
But what remains of the essence of the cards? I sincerely think missing much value when it comes to express ourselves through technology.
A letter was much more significant and entailed a greater effort at the time of writing it. In addition many fewer spelling errors were committed and paid greater attention to the presentation, as the letter gave an image of you.
So I think it is a pity that the art of writing letters has been lost.

How To Describe Someone

Peer response for: María.
By: Patricia.

Dear María in my opinion, you have done a good work because you describe a real person, but I think you could say more adjectives to describe your great grandfather´s personality. In addition, when you have more time you can make your description longer. The content of the text is very well and you have a good organisation. You can write more information and more details aboutyour great grandfather and how much importance he had for you.
I know you can do it better, but well done!

In my childhood I used to spend a lot of time with my great grandfather called Emilio. I remember to be really interested in all his histories about when he was young.
My great grandfather used to tell me his experience durning the Spanish War.
When I remember him, the first thing that going to my mind is that he was a very interesting, kind, handsome, educated and honest person.
He was not really expresive, but without want it, he taught me how to be an honest person.

Feelings Of Guernica

Guernica is considered one of the artistic works most important of the 20th century.Pablo Picasso represented the cruelty of the Spanish civil war. But what this  picture transmits me is the chaos in which the country was, as well as pain, descontrol, confusion, madness, despair, anger and especially death.
For all those feelings that it transmits, the guernica is considered one of the most important works of art.

My Fears.

Fear of not to know where to go.
Fear of feeling sad.
Fear of darkness.
Fear of losing myself.
Fear of getting older.
Fear of the way that the world is going.
Fear of forget muy memories.
Fear of the empty nights.
Fear of waking up without my family.
Fear of disappointing myself.
Fear of disappointing my family.
Fear of the future.
Fear of not to know who I am.
Fear of death.
Fear of being wrong.
Fear of empty.
Fear of falling into the deep.
Fear of muy fears.
Fear this day will end without any positive feeling.
Fear of waking up to find my memories are gone.
Fear of not loving and fear of not to be loved.
Fear that what I love disapeared.
Fear of not feeling.
Fear of losing my life.
Fear of empty.
I've said that.

The Influence Of Our Thoughts

The other day I saw a television advertisement that spoke of such a Pygmalion effect so I googled about it and I found it interesting to comment.

This effect originates from a Greek myth.A sculptor, Pygmalion fell in love with one of his sculptures called Galatea and he always dreamed she was real. Aphrodite, seeing that Pygmalion was in love with her sculpture, turned Galatea into a real woman.

For this reason it is said that if a person believes absolutely that something is going to happend, that something will occur. So we should all think in positive.

Tips For Writing An Essay

Durning the few classes we have had, we have learned three different techniques that will help us to write an essay.
The first technique seems to me really simple and easy, it was making a topic from a general idea or theme.Well, that simple was this task that I couldn't do it easily.
Step to step you will finally get a wonderfull essay or maybe only an essay.

Yes, I couldn't, but practicing and practicing this assignment turned out to be quite useful.
The second one was a brainstorming. This technique is to write whatever passes through your mind.It is very effective and you will surprise about what you have inside your mind.
Finally, the third one was to make a map with all the ideas you want to write.
Concluding I can not say which one is the best because I think all of them help me to start writing.
So we should use these tips in our writings, at least until we have practice.
